This morning I got my butt up and cranked out a workout using The Biggest Loser: Last Chance Work-Out DVD. It was a really good work-out for a DVD: honestly, more than I was expecting. I’m going to post a full review after I’ve done it a few more times and have experienced a few of the other workouts on the video. For, now let’s just say if you’re looking for a solid butt kicking, it’s worth checking out. I would even go as far to say it was more work than level 1 of JM’s 30 Day Shred DVD. I definitely finished tired and very sweaty. There I am in all my sweaty glory, but let’s be honest. This is how I really felt:
After my work-out I made myself some breakfast. It was a sad morning in my house. Yesterday morning I ran out of oatmeal. I haven’t had a chance to go grocery shopping this week so I meal planned based on what we had in the house, and I clearly underestimated how much oatmeal I had left. 🙁 In any case, after my butt kicking workout, a little extra protien couldn’t hurt right? I made myself an egg sammie using an Arnold’s sandwich thin, a fried egg, two slices of Canadian bacon (aka the only ham product I’ll eat), and 2 T. of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. I also had some cantaloupe with it. Despite it’s lack of oatmeal goodness, breakfast this morning totally hit the spot.
As a final note, I think one of my favorite things about swithing to WordPress is the WordPress iPhone app! I didn’t have time to write my full morning post before leaving for work so here I am on the bus finishig it up. Brilliant! Best commuting idea ever.
