I ended up not going to yoga class. I was feeling better, but I didn’t want to end up feeling sick again in class. I did do about 15 minutes of yoga (a few sun salutations and a couple asanas) in my living room before I went to bed.
Since I didn’t go to yoga, I didn’t go to my parent’s to pick up my soymilk (and other stuff I forgot there). Without my soymilk, I decided to skip the oats this morning and make and egg sammie.
The sammich contained an egg, 2 slices of Canadian bacon, a slice of mild cheddar cheese, and some spinach for good measure. All housed on a Arnold’s sandwich thin of course.
About a week and a half ago I was considering getting up early on a daily basis to get some work (or a workout) done before work. I really have always been a morning person, and I’m much more productive in the morning. However, for some reason, I cannot seem to fathom waking up before 6am. I’ve been getting up at 6am for most of my life. It’s as though my body is locked into that, and getting up earlier just seems ridiculous.
I want to get work done in the morning though so I’ve decided to try doing it gradually. Rather than just setting my alarm for 5:30, I’m going to make the adjutment in 10 minute intervals. This week I’m getting up at 5:50. Next week I’ll get up at 5:40, and the following week at 5:30. I’m two for two as of today so hopefully doing it this way will make it stick.
