186. Very Tempeh-ting Pizza Part II

I don’t have time for a long post tonight as I’m heading out, but I wanted to let you all know how the BBQ tempeh pizza turned out.  It was really good.  I still expect it would have been yummier last night – crispier crust, etc – but it was tastey.

The tempeh itself wasn’t bad.  It didn’t have a whole lot of flavor, and it was grainier than I expected, but I didn’t dislike it,  I could see using it as a substitute for ground beef in chili, soups, pasta sauces maybe.  Over all I definitely foresee tempeh showing up in future meals.
