My FitBit ChargeHR
I thought about buying a FitBit a few years ago, but since I do Weight Watchers, I decided to get their ActiveLink fitness monitor instead. as it would convert to points automatically. And while my ActiveLink has been great (and is still fully functional), it’s always had two main drawbacks – a $5 a month fee and no sleep monitoring like the FitBit has. WeightWatchers recently released their ActiveLink 2.0, but they also started syncing with FitBit (as well as some other popular fitness monitors) too which made the idea of replacing my trusty ActiveLink really appealing.
I went back and forth for a couple weeks as to whether or not I should get the New ActiveLink, a FitBit (and if I did which one), or some other fitness tracker (JawBone, the Polar Loop, etc). My preference was to get something with a heart rate monitor, but it wasn’t a deal braker. Ultimately I decided on the FitBit ChargeHR in black (Though I REALLY wanted it in Plum, I was not willing to wait 8 weeks for it!) and bought one from Amazon. I’ve had it less than a week, and I absolutely love it! (I’ll do a full review once I’ve had a chance to use it for a while.) To say I’m obsessed is probably an understatement.
If you’re a FitBit user, add me as a friend!
I sincerely doubt anyone gets to the end of their life and thinks, “You know, I really wish I’d done more housework.”
